Dosing Pump & Beer Pumps

  • 50a

Any outlet that has beer pumps fitted can use the beer pumps in conjunction with a retro fitted dosing pump and stainless keg coupler cleaning sockets to implement an efficient outlet operated beer line cleaning system. The combination of beer pumps and dosing pump is used to pump water followed by cleaning detergent through the beer lines to the beer taps for a period of time to soak clean the beer lines. Following the soaking period the beer lines are flushed with fresh water before the beer is re-introduced to the beer dispense system.

  • 52aThis method of beer line cleaning can be further enhanced by the addition of individual beer line quick release connectors which introduces the ability to clean individual beer lines allowing partial beer dispense system operation while the cleaning of other sections of the beer dispense system takes place. This method of beer line cleaning also allows residual beer left in the beer lines to be pumped out and sold as normal before the beer line cleaning process commences reducing ongoing wastage costs associated with regular beer line cleaning.

Beer Pumps

Many outlets have beer pumps already installed as a key component of the beer dispense system. Beer pumps can be used to clean the beer lines by drawing water and cleaning detergent through the beer lines in the same way the beer pumps would raw beer through the beer lines to the beer towers at the point of sale. This method of cleaning beer lines is less flexible than using beer pumps in conjunction with a dosing pump but is a cost effective method that will clean beer lines to a consistently high standard.

  • 35aThis method of beer cleaning reguires that the beer dispense system keg couplers are removed from the kegs and placed in a vessel filled with beer line cleaning detergent. The beer pumps then draw the cleaning detergent through the system to the beer taps for a period of time to soak clean the beer lines. Following the soaking period the beer lines are flushed with fresh water before the beer is re-introduced to the beer dispense system.

Pressure Canisters

Pressure canister cleaning is basic method of cleaning beer lines and is generally used on smaller beer dispense systems.Pressure canisters replicate the function of a beer keg but have the ability to be accessed and filled with water and beer line cleaning detergent which is then pumped through the beer system is the same way beer would be pumped through from the keg. The pressurised canister pumps the beer line cleaning detergent through the system to the beer taps for a period of time to soak clean the beer lines. Following the soaking period the pressure canister is rinsed out filled with fresh water to flush the beer lines with water before the beer is re-introduced to the beer dispense system.
